Prior to launching IRÄYE, Yasmine Cherry, CEO, spent her career working with leading beauty brands, launching some of the best-selling beauty products on the market today. She felt the skincare industry was missing products that targeted more than just visible and superficial skin concerns but that worked to solve these problems on a deeper level. Her mission regenerative, cutting-edge skincare-was realized when she met her co-founders.

As pioneers of this newly rediscovered field, Professor Dr. Michael Detmar, MD and Dr. Epameinondas Gousopoulos, MD-PhD have been instrumental in developing treatments for conditions ranging from lymphedema to wound healing.

Amongst their world-first discoveries was the role played by age and external factors including stress, inflammation and UV light in the degradation of the lymphatic system. The resulting vessel leakage and water retention all hinder its crucial drainage function, and lead to the build-up of toxins.

By screening over 2,200 plant extracts, they achieved the breakthrough discovery of the first natural lymphatic activators, extracts that stimulate lymphatic function and the body’s ability to repair damaged lymph vessels.
